It's time. The East Bay is fantabulous and it's time San Francisco saw some competition.

A few places to start:

Zza's wine bar on Grand, near Lakeshore.  Great wine deals,  many vegan apps, but not a full bar.

Herbivore Berkeley (full bar).

A Cote on College (haven't been there but a vegan friend recomended it for drinks)

Bobby G's on University.  Wine and beer only, but fun place with yummy vegan pizza.
